The programme does not focus exclusively on pregnancy and birth: it encourages women to consider their transition to motherhood and look ahead to bonding with their babies, and adjusting to the birth of a new family.
The first six to eight weeks (postpartum period) is a time of change and adjustment for both mother and baby. Many physical and emotional changes occur during this time.
This program is specifically designed to assist with those changes and support both you and baby in every aspect.
Typical Session:
-
A full body massage is recommend for the first ten days after birth.
-
Reflexology Treatments to help restore sleep patterns, milk production, and uterus contraction.
-
Creative Healing Massage.
-
The uterus, cervix and neck area of the bladder should be toned, lifted and restored to their original position- this helps prevent uterine prolapse and stress incontinence. Ideally this should be done on the second, fourth and sixth week postnatally.
